Q: Why is your company called “The Stick & The Ball”?

A: Once upon a time, there were two Aquarian cousins who were born five days a part. They were inseparable whenever they were together. Their Dads gave them nicknames and they became The Stick & The Ball.

Our Dads were childhood friends who shared the same birthday (October 3) and married sisters. Our Dads are no longer with us so choosing the childhood nicknames they gave us is our way of honoring them and keeping them close.

Q: What makes your granola different from other granola?

A: Our granola is made with love, is handcrafted in small batches, and never contains preservatives, additives, fillers, dyes, or things you cannot pronounce. Each ingredient was researched and selected based upon its ability to complement one another and for its individual health benefits.

Q: Is your granola really made with love?

A: It sure is! We only bake when we are in the best of moods. We listen to music that makes us happy and have sentimental things nearby and in sight when we bake. We believe that all food tastes better when it’s made with love.

Q: What is the shelf life of your granola?

A: Our shelf life for unopened bags is three months and is considerably long for a product that is free of preservatives, additives, and artificial anythings. Once the bag is opened, we recommend storing your granola in an air tight container to retain freshness. Storing your granola in an air tight container or it's resealable bag the refrigerator or freezer can extend your freshness for up to a year.

Q: Is your granola gluten-free?

A: Not officially, but we do not add any wheat products into our granola.  The oats we use are processed in the same factory as wheat products.

Q: Is your granola dairy-free?

A: Nearly all of our granola flavors are dairy-free. Our seasonal Organic Peanut Butter & Dark Chocolate Chip Granola is our only flavor that is not dairy-free.

Q: Is your granola vegan?

A: No, but it is BEEgan!

Q: I have a nut allergy. Is any of your granola nut-free?

A: No. All of our granolas include almonds. But! We can make nut-free granola for you if you purchase it in bulk. Email us for details – hello@thestickandtheball.com.
